PV systems are flexible and in most instances can be adapted to almost any situation. About 90% of all PV systems are tied into the electric grid, and when the power goes out the PV system is shut down, protecting your expensive electronics. There are battery back-up systems available, if you need to keep critical systems going. PV systems are also easily upgraded and as you upgrade you can continue to get rebates and tax incentives.
